This was a scene from a dream I had...
It was about a boy (me  ) who worked in a big mansion, with talking toy birds annoyed that they were forgotten in the loft and a cat which couldn't stop playing with the golf ball which the owner of the Mansion was trying to play golf with. There was also a strange mix of a kite and a ballon who I later had to search as it flew to the forest just beside the house. This is the scene where I found a little girl and the Owner's car. She said something about Emillie, the kite, drove her there. I can't remember more...but I sure did wonder how could a Kite drive. xDIn my dream the forest was different. They were all Olive trees, which I tried to draw, and were much shorter and closer to eachother. Makes me also wonder how did the car get there anyways.  I had the fantastic idea of trying to add some contrast there, destroying many details...I think i'll draw this scene again soon. xD Now I'll have to ask you for a donation. After all, it is very tiring to show you some of my twisted dreams. ;( Love, Akashi |

it'd be cool if you did draw out your dream XD
Well, I think the idea of contrast is not bad. Just that you added a lot of black in some areas, while others have very little. Those blackened areas look "heavy". If you add black, you need to balance it a little more.
If you're not sure if doing some experiment or something, you always can print a copy and try there
But in general I like the detail on the trees. That looks hard :/ And that was a weird dream XD
Yes, it was a weird dream. I forgot to mention that the little girl's name is also Emillie...makes you think, huh? xD
O_o Well, they say dreams are some kind of collage of memories. But sometimes I've dreamed with things I don't really remember having watched before @_@....
